The minna,Niger state based 79years old man ,Muhammad Haruna Al-Rahman,who became famous few years ago when it was revealed that he was married to more than 70wives is now in the news yet again as 67 of those wives have dragged him to court for sleeping with another woman who is not his wife (concubine).
The aggressive wives are seeking for divorce the man for still committing adultery with other women outside his marriage.
The angry woman cannot understand what their husband still wants in other women when he has his over-sized harem, and as such, they have filled multiple lawsuit against him. The joint suit allege that the septuagenarian was caught on 19th September, 2014,having sex the wife of neighbor.
When the case mentioned, the woman filed in one after the other and stated that they want to divorce their husband on the grounds of 'unreasonable behavior' and ' adultery'.
They are applying for an islamic divorce procedure known as the khula, which is the right of a woman to seek divorce from her husband by the wife.
